Start where you actually are
There is nothing you need to have figured out first. Coaching begins with a conversation about your life as it is — and moves at whatever pace makes sense for you.
We all have a story, or a situation. It shapes the days — it does not define the person.
If you cannot run, walk. If you cannot walk, crawl. Rest when you need to. The only thing I would ask is that you do not stay in one place too long.
You are running your own race, at your own pace. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
We start with what health means to you
Before we talk about goals, we talk about your own definition of health. What would it feel like? What would it make possible? And what is already working that you would like to protect?
The first conversation is deliberately unhurried. A plan built too quickly usually belongs to the coach. A plan that holds belongs to you — and that takes a little listening first.
You are not behind. You are not a project. You are someone with a real week, real responsibilities, and probably not much left over at the end of the day. We start there.
A first conversation
Fifteen or twenty minutes, at no cost. Nothing to prepare, and nothing to decide at the end of it.
Getting to know the whole picture
A longer conversation about your definition of health, your circumstances, and what matters underneath the goal.
Working together
We notice what worked, make sense of what got in the way, and build the next step in your words — not mine.
Seeing what holds
We look honestly at what has changed, and decide together what kind of support — if any — makes sense next.
Coaching is not clinical care
Being clear about this is part of taking care of you. My nursing background informs the judgment and referral standards behind this work — it does not make a coaching relationship into a clinical one.
When something belongs with a physician, therapist, pharmacist, dietitian, or another professional, I say so plainly, and I help you prepare for that conversation rather than leaving you to figure it out.

There is no rush here
If you are curious, a first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If the timing is not right, that is a perfectly good answer too.
